Assistant Winemaker:  Sascha Herbert

As a young, energetic member of an Australian wine dynasty, Sascha wanted to make a name for herself in the wine game without the obvious nepotism.

In the quest for the ultimate working lifestyle, balmy afternoons of frisbee, beach cricket, Coopers and Sparkling Shiraz were left behind and replaced by frisbee golf, Waitiri cricket, Emersons and vast amounts of Pinot Noir.

In search of the ultimate winemaking post she entered into the talent contest at GVW………

Although she did not win she has received plenty of positive feedback and is exhilarated by just experiencing what each day brings with the GVW team.

Completing his second harvest at Gibbston Valley Wines, Jody's dedication is instrumental in the continued success of the wines.  Bringing an extensive wealth of knowledge and skills; mixed with an intoxicating sense of humor, his passion for wine making shows everyday.
