Gibbston Valley Wines are on top of the world after the 2000 Reserve Pinot Noir was named Champion Pinot Noir and winner of the Burgundy and Pinot Noir Trophy at the world's largest and most prestigious wine competition in London. It cannot get any better than this! To add icing to the cake both the Gibbston Valley 1999 and 2001 Reserve Pinot Noirs have also won gold medals at this influential show. The London International Wine Challenge attracts over 10,000 entries and with every wine judged twice is regarded as the toughest in the world at which to win medals. Gibbston Valley Wines' unprecedented success in the pinot class place them firmly in the top world echelon of Pinot Noir specialists.

Since their first commercial release in 1987, Gibbston Valley Wines have garnered over two hundred prominent awards, nationally and internationally. This is a very impressive array for a comparatively small winery in relatively new wine region and is testament to the unwavering consistency in quality of the wines they produce.
